High-Octane Inspiration: Blogfest 2012

Blogfest On Design 2012, the second annual event connecting interior designers, stylists, design bloggers and more who embrace social media, was a pure design-driven adrenaline rush! ¬†High-octane inspiration was the name of the game for 72 hours straight! ¬†Hold on, here’s a visual magic carpet ride of some of the highlights…

2012 Kips Bay Decorator Show House (and site of Blogfest Kickoff hosted by Margaret Russell, editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest):

Remarks at Hearst Tower…Kravet President Cary Kravet, EIC of VERANDA Dara Caponigro, EIC of House Beautiful Newell Turner, plus we heard from designers Daryl Carter and Timothy Whealon:

Whisked to the ELLE DECOR Modern Life Concept House hosted by EIC Michael Boodro, then off to the D&D Building to hear EIC of Traditional Home Ann Maine interview designer Alexa Hampton:

Previewed the new Baccarat Showroom under construction with designer Vincente Wolf:

Toured the incredible Kravet Studio (more on this in another post):

Hightailed it to the Museum of the City of New York on the UES to hear designer Miles Redd speak during the Interiors Magazine panel hosted by Editorial Director Michael Wollaeger and then said a fond farewell to NYC until the next time:
